Claude Just Got a Body. Here's What Founders Need to Know. (Copy)

Anthropic just gave Claude a body. It can now use your Mac, control your apps, and work from your phone. Here's what changed — and what to do about it.

Claude Just Got a Body. Here's What Founders Need to Know. (Copy)
Claude just got an upgrade for founders to leverage!

Most people are still using Claude like a search engine.

Type a question. Get an answer. Copy and paste. Close the tab.

That's fine. It works. But there's a gap forming — quietly, quickly — between founders who understand what Claude can actually do right now, and those who think it's still just a chat window.

Last week, Anthropic shipped four updates that change the game. Not gradually. Not eventually. Right now.

Let me break it down

💡
WHAT JUST HAPPENED

In the space of seven days, Anthropic dropped:

  • Dispatch (March 18) — send Claude tasks from your phone while your Mac does the work
  • Computer Use (March 24) — Claude now controls your mouse, keyboard, browser, and apps
  • Projects — separate business workspaces with their own memory, instructions, and scheduled tasks
  • Skills — reusable automation frameworks Claude runs on demand or on a schedule

None of this is vaporware. It's live. It's in Claude Cowork. It's available right now on a Pro plan at $20/month.

The question isn't whether this is real. The question is whether you're using it.

THE SHIFT THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE MISSING

Claude was a chatbot. Now it's an agent.

The difference matters more than most people realise.

❌ A chatbot gives you answers. ✅ An agent gets things done.

When you send Claude a task in Cowork, it doesn't just generate text — it opens files, builds documents, searches the web, connects to your tools, and delivers you finished work. You describe the outcome. Claude builds the plan, executes the steps, and handles the output.

This is the shift from dialogue to delegation.

And with Computer Use now live, Claude doesn't even need a pre-built integration to do it. If there's no connector for a tool you use, Claude will just... use the tool. Like a human. It can see your screen, move your cursor, click, type, and navigate — the same way you would.

💡
This is new. This is significant. And most founders haven't changed how they work yet.

DISPATCH: THE ONE THAT ACTUALLY CHANGES YOUR DAY

Computer Use is impressive. But Dispatch is the one that will change your daily rhythm.

Here's the idea: you're not at your desk. You're on your phone. You open Claude, send a message — "pull this week's content metrics and drop them into the weekly report template" — and Claude executes that task on your Mac at home.

You come back to finished work.

That's Dispatch. One persistent conversation between your phone and your desktop. You assign the task. Claude handles it. You pick up where it left off.

This isn't a gimmick. This is a proper async workflow. Founders who build with it will be running their business from their phone in a way that actually works — not by doing everything on a small screen, but by delegating to a system that does the work while they're elsewhere.

The early movers on this will look very different from everyone else by the end of Q2.
